This year is coming to an end rapidly. Just as rapid are the changes in employment law taking effect on January 1, 2018. Some of these new laws require updating of employee handbooks, employment applications, and company policies/procedures. The new laws include the expansion of sexual harassment training, ending the practice of inquiring into an applicant’s salary history, implementing the New Parental Leave Act that now impacts employers with at least 20 employees, and more.
